Meet

Dave and his brothers
practically 'grew up' with mini-bikes and snowmobiles.
They all liked learning and all, at a very early age,
learned how to "Keep'em
Running"! Dave and his Dad have a patent on
a small overhead patented pull down engine starter called

Now, Dave wants to provide other youngsters
"growing up" an opportunity to learn how to "Keep'em Running!" How? Every Go-Kart has an engine driven drive
system, propelling either a centrifugal clutch or the newer torque converter.
Both of these systems have
components requiring periodic maintenance or eventually replacement of some wearable
parts. This is normal. Dave is often asked, "How long do Go-Karts run before they
breakdown?". Dave simply says, "Suppose you drive your Kart for two hours a day
for ten days. That's approximately twenty hours of use and probably over some pretty rough
terrain. "Let's say you might average a ground speed of 15 m.p.h.. That's 20
hours at 15 m.p.h. which means you have traveled a distance of approximately 300
miles!" "Wow, how far from your home would you be 300 miles away?"
Dave wants to provide the normal wearable parts, along
with the instructions on "How to Replace and Maintain them". Please Note: Go
Kart Dave does not provide parts for racing Go Karts nor does he suggest any method of
"Hopping Up"an engine excepting stock items available which do not necessitate
internal engine modifications. In the near future we will publish a chart off of this web
site that will help identify problems and explain remedies.
"Most people do not realize that the
overall go kart market is a "multi-billion dollar
industry". The sport is a family activity where each family
member can participate on an equal level whether on a race track,
concession track or out in the backyard, go karting provides fun
and excitement for young and old alike." (excerpt
