Tryon is proud to introduce his newest invention, the
patented "Start-R-Up",
which attaches to an overhead Go-Kart roll cage (brush
guard), enabling a seated driver and others to pull
start the engine. Customer acceptance has been outstanding.

more fun!"
Dave's invention eliminates the need to
stand behind the Go-Kart when starting the engine and, most
importantly, prevents the possible dangerous occurrence of a
driverless run-away kart. Dave believes that his "Start-R-Up"
may become required equipment on most American made Go-Karts.
The "Start-R-Up"
units are being manufactured in David's facilities.
They are easily attached to most brand Karts and retail
for $59.95.
David, having spent ten years in the sales
and service of Go-Karts, has become known as "Go-Kart
Dave".
He has watched the Go-Kart industry
"grow up", been a witness to some of their
trials and tribulations finding the majority of karts
acceptable and a few he feels should never have been
allowed to reach the marketplace.
"Go-Kart Dave" thinks back ten
years to those little yard karts he now refers to as "B.B.Guns"".
Times have changed!
Today's golf car size Karts with higher H.P.
engines and torque converter drive systems are loaded "shot
guns" capable of "going off" if started without a
seated driver.
Dave refers to his "Start-R-Up"
as a trigger lock.
